PASPB Scholarship Program

The Petroleum Accountants Society of the Permian Basin (PASPB), established in 1954 and a proud member of the Council of Petroleum Accountant Societies (COPAS) since 1961, is committed to advancing education and professional development in the petroleum accounting field. Both PASPB and COPAS are non-profit organizations dedicated to analyzing industry accounting challenges and providing guidance through best practices and procedures.

As part of this commitment, PASPB has established a scholarship program to support local accounting students in their academic journey. Funded through the generosity of PASPB members, these scholarships help cover tuition, fees, or book expenses for an entire academic year.

Each year, a dedicated scholarship committee reviews applications, conducts interviews as needed, and recommends recipients to the PASPB Board of Directors. Scholarships are awarded in April, with the number of awards based on available funding.

PASPB does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religious creed, national origin, sex, or age.
